An Introduction to Felting

Felting is one of the most ancient and versatile forms of fabric making and can be used to create anything from a feather light highly detailed scarf, to a sturdy bowl!

I would love you to join me at my introduction to felt making workshop so that I can share my passion for this wonderful craft and give you the opportunity to discover how you can use it to develop your own creations at home!

You will have the opportunity to create an image of your choice using both needle felting, (where an image or 3D object is created using a special felting needle – literally painting or sculpting with wool!) and wet felting, where a fabric is created using soapy water.

In addition to learning the basic principles of needle and wet felting, you will also learn about how you can combine the two processes.

All materials are supplied.  Suitable for ages 16years old and over.
