The weird paint has come town! Come see the paintings of past, present and future. Gaze into them and see them reflect onto you, their wisdom giving powers! A group of colourfield, minimal and hard-edge paintings born from themes close to the artists. These themes consist of the human condition, social structures and western culture. The works while completed, only display what is necessary. This is for the painting to be explored and not forced upon by the viewer. Making this an active experience rather than a passive one. The paintings serve as a cues for the viewer to relate to. The materials consist of oil paint and additives. The use of primers and sizes support stability and longevity. These are two factors that heavily inform the artist’s work. All links to social media sites are found at my website: www.jasoncooksart.co.uk
