I am an artist living in the Roath area. I started painting 7 years ago when my youngest started school full time. I am self taught so I wanted to see how my work could develop as I gave myself more time to explore and experiment.  I love walks along coast lines, through woods or up mountains and these are the main inspiration for my work. I paint in oils and acrylics and enjoy experimenting with colour. I always hope my work enables a person to feel part of the place and draws their imagination into a similar time they may have visited a beach, walked along a part of our beautiful Welsh coastline or clambered up one of our rugged mountains.
