HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE

An exhibition of ‘Warmth Posters’ by Karl Price. Price’s banners will also be traveling with the Red Route march.

Exhibition open daily 12noon-4pm from 27th April – 1 May.

‘Warmth Posters’ are large posters, individually made from calico and felt.
Images and text within the designs are the fallout from attempts to live a spiritual life, long walks and other meditations. The posters include references to pop songs, pseudo spiritual messages that populate social media, faith in anthropomorphic Gods and eating mad cow burgers in the 80’s & 90’s.

Banners have been used to prohibit, oppress, preach and then to protest those very things. ‘Warmth Posters’ maybe all of these, some of these or none of these things. What do you want to hear?

“Sometimes I am secretly seduced by messages that accelerate a sense of personal extra-ordinariness and self propulsion. I also secretly know those messages and that self-reliance reduce my usefulness to others and are ultimately empty in meaning. My secret is out! It was never a secret.”

‘Warmth Posters’ will be exhibited in the context of a church cloisters and also visible to the passing public during the day and night. Light and dark magic are both at play in the search for a sexy life and a sexy death.
