In celebration of the Festival’s theme of inclusivity, ‘We Are Family’ is a two-screen video installation piece comprising mashup filmic interpretations of: In Limbo, an operatic aria on the theme of migration, composed by Cardiff-based Dutch composer Carlijn Metselaar in 2016 as part of Music Theatre Wales’ ‘Make An Aria’ initiative; and ‘Brotherhood’, a stirring call to arms by radical U.S. poet Edwin Markham (1852-1940).
