During my time in residency I’ll be unwinding into the space, reading about places, spaces and roles in which people, especially those who are neurodiverse thrive.
Using paint, dance, music and reflective writing I’ll inhabit the window and experiment with layers in video, combining media to express something of my experiences over time of occupation, employment and money with honesty.
In the photograph I’m wearing my sifting hat in the garden of Growing Space in Abergavenny, where I live. As part of this research I am leading image sifting workshops whilst wearing the sifting hat in the photograph to identify resonant images, I give a talk on advice to myself on Starting a new role and we discuss what might help us to thrive.
