Using a recent health scare and the resulting conversations about family stories, mortality and place, artists James Cocks and Bill Cox will look into the sharing of social and family histories between generations, in particular how this relates to the paternal bond. They will also investigate the idea of the passing of knowledge from father to son and how that relates to their professions as visual artists. They are interested in how this could be incorporated into performances that use multiple voices and sound, and the effect of mixing real, factious and exaggerated narratives.
They are aiming to be in the space as much as they can.
