1a Artist in Residence Programme

I am a designer who creates unique decor from existing materials and specialise in bespoke pieces to be used in weddings and events. During my time at 1a I will be putting up a display of Pakistani wedding decorations to show the cultural aspects of asian weddings. I will be inviting the wider community to not only view the decorations but also take part in making paper flower decorations that I use for weddings. This will allow people from other communities to engage with the cultural aspect of asian weddings which may not always be accessible to the public.
