madeinroath is an artist-led organisation and festival, now in its 9th year. It showcases the work of emerging and established artists, makers, musicians, writers and performers, who use the whole of Roath as the venue, including domestic, commercial, public and overlooked or disused spaces.
madeinroath offers residents and visitors an opportunity to engage in the arts through a dynamic programme of socially engaged projects and events, broadening audience access to the wealth of creative talent in our neighbourhood. Over the last nine years we have built a strong working relationship with the community of Roath, offering a unique opportunity for artists to work with a open and receptive community.

May Day Weekend 2017
29th – 30th April: Red Route March A unique 27 mile march demonstrating the importance of art and culture to society. Over two days we’ll walk along the Taff Trail, sharing and celebrating, and experiencing specially commissioned artworks and performances.
30th April: Made in Spring Street Festival A street party with creative style. Expect art, performance, music and a celebration of Roath’s community.
October 2017
madeinroath Festival Our annual, week-long extravaganza of new, developing and much-loved art, performance, workshops, literature and more. Over 140 events in over 100 locations around Roath. Dates will be confirmed closer to the event.
