One Hour is a performative intervention exploring time and movement in response to the environment of Roath Park Lake and The Promenade.

Jenny Cashmore is interested in exploring the relationship between people and the places they inhabit.  Using everyday interactions (movement, actions, behaviour, thoughts) as her starting point, she creates work about places that manifests in various forms. Her recent works have begun to establish performative dialogues with specific urban environments, within both public and private spaces. These focus on unexpected interactions, sometimes recreating absurd new relationships that reimagine and question the constructs of contemporary society.
