The Celtic Trail runs through the heart of South Wales, 300 miles in all, skirting the Black Mountains before reaching Pembrokeshire beaches and returning by way of the coast and Kidwelly, Mumbles and Llantwit Major.
We cycled the Celtic Trail in May this year for the joy of seeing some of the best scenery in South Wales and to support two charities in Roath that help people who have little or nothing, the Speakeasy and TAVS.
Three artists joined us for the journey, Kate Alizadeh, Jon Dixon and Laura Bradford, making sketches and photographing the landscape we passed through, communities and projects we visited and some of the people we met.
Celtic Trail Tales is a collection of those sketches, watercolours, photographs and stories from that ride.
