1a Artist in Residence Programme

Florence is currently questioning the relationships between the different ways in which she makes work. The spaces and materials which we are surrounded with have an affect on our internal worlds, and the time at 1a aims to be an investigation into that tension.

Her practice shifts between the figurative and the abstract. Finding and unearthing connection links a lot of her work both visually as an illustrator and collaboratively.
