We warmly invite you to submit work for this year’s madeinroath Open Exhibition.
The MiR Open has become a popular and well recognized feature of the festival, representing the range and breadth of creativity both within our community and also from further afield. There is no admission fee for showing at this year’s Open Exhibition and no restrictions according to age, ability or experience, this open call approach is a deliberate strategy and always results in an interesting and unique exhibition.
This year we are pleased to be holding the MiR Open at The Gate Arts Centre, Keppoch Street. We will upload details of how to submit your work shortly, but in the meantime, please email gail@madeinroath.com with ‘expression of interest’ in the subject line, and we will send the submission, hanging and drop off/collection details to you by email.
Unless alternative arrangements are made in advance, artwork will need to be delivered to the venue on Monday 9th October at 1pm or between 5pm – 8pm. Collection of work after the show will take place between the same hours on Monday 30th September.

Every year madeinroath gives 10 artists the opportunity to apply for the MiR commission. Each artist creates a new and unique piece of work specifically for the festival.
Information on this year’s commission will be released shortly.
