Open Exhibition

Call for artists
Exhibition dates: March 2 - 5
Preview: March 4, 6 - 9pm, G39, Oxford Street, CF24 3DT

MiR warmly invites you to submit work for this year’s Open Exhibition, which, after a two year hiatus, we are delighted to announce will be at g39 in March 2022.

As always, there is no admission fee, no restrictions on age, ability or experience, and all works that fit the criteria below will be shown. This approach, a truly open call, is one we have proudly pioneered since 2009. It always results in an interesting, inclusive and eclectic exhibition and we’re looking forward to seeing new work in this year’s call.

Preview: March 4, 6 – 9pm

Please join us from 6-9pm on Friday 4 March for the official launch event. Featuring an apple based performance by Megan Broadmeadow, collaborative print workshops by Well Wagon, and a pop up apple museum and cider information service from Burum Collective

There will be a pay bar, people’s vote and judges vote award ceremony and a ceremonial gifting of a rare variety apple tree to g39.

Please read the Open-Exhibition details for further information.
