Zena Blackwell is inspired by the randomness, mess, chaos, humour, beauty and dark days of raising children and keeping house. These latest paintings lovingly depict children as the feral little monsters they can very often be. Zena’s work can be beautiful and humorous but also sinister and menacing, often leaving a heavy feeling of disquiet.
