A CREATE@Roath Park Pleasure Gardens Event
11am – 2pm, 15 minute workshops throughout the day
Wish upon a crane at this informal drop in session and it may come true!
Mixed media artist Karen O’Shea will teach you how to fold the most classic of Japanese origami, the crane, a symbol of long-life with the ability to grant wishes. Add your wish and display it in your home or garden. A link to crane folding instructions are provided on Karen’s facebook page so that you can start making ahead of the festival (facebook.com/karenosheaart) and to enable you to make more afterwards at home. Tweet photos of your beautiful colourful cranes and wishes to the festival social media @madeinroath2016 and to @karenosheaart #cranespotting
Karen is an award winning mixed media artist running creative workshops for all ages and abilities, specialising in wellbeing. For more information visit @karenosheaart on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & Twitter.
