Dr. Shelagh Weeks and Christina Thatcher will provide community members with free, professional feedback on their writing. Please send up to three poems or 1000 words of prose to spokenword@madeinroath.com by October 6th. Feedback will be provided on Oct. 21st in 15 minute assigned slots. Spaces limited!

Shelagh Weeks has worked in many jobs, including as a market stall seller in Cambridge and in community education. Her story ‘Mint Sauce’ won the Cinnamon Press short story prize in 2007. Cinnamon Press went on to publisher her novel, Up Close (2012), and her collection of short stories, Washing the Dead (2013).

Christina Thatcher’s poetry has featured in a number of publications including The London Magazine, Planet Magazine, and the Lampeter Review.
