Two years ago ‘Gorau Chwarae, cyd-chwarae’ reverberated around Cardiff, Wales and the World as the proverb spurred the Welsh football team to greatness. This project seeks to explore Welsh proverbs, representing as they do community wisdom developed over centuries. The proverbs selected here highlight inclusivity, optimism and hope. This project places a selection of proverbs back into the community through letterform. This is a development from an exhibition in Oriel Blodau Bach.
