Own Your own Space // Pinhole upcycling map

The project Own Your Own Space is all about the interaction in the public space through the creative influence. Nowadays, the rubbish left on the streets of Cardiff is quite an issue. Have you noticed all those beer cans?

Aytacrayta prepared the upcycling game. The aim is to introduce the online map where the exact location of the rubbish is marked down. In the meantime, the junk is cleaned and made into the pinhole camera. As such object, it is returned back. Anybody can follow the map at www.aytacrayta.com/Own-Your-Own-Space, pick its own pinhole camera and thus help to clean our streets.

Those who would like to contribute to the map can take part during the Sunday workshop. If you find the rubbish, snap a picture of it with your phone, note down its location (longitude and latitude) and come to make the pinhole camera out of it. Together we will upload the information to the map, bring it back and watch what happens with it next. Will somebody take it away?
