Sally Hughes, Angharad Evans and Aleksandra Jones will perform their sensory portals offering an experience for participants, provoking a sense of mystery.

Heyoka invites participants to view and compare from three perspectives – to witness others in the portal through a veil, to pass beyond the veil and be immersed in sensory experience, then to re-witness through the veil having experienced the portal.

The Looking Room invites the audience to pause and enjoy a moment of looking at the other, to experience an ineffably sweet intimacy, a connection that penetrates through the masks of daily interaction.

With attention and sensitivity, participants are led through a process of returning to self, to tenderness and intense encounters with the senses.

The portal becomes an alchemical laboratory in which feelings are transformed, daily reality becomes distant. Participants return to themselves, their needs, the body and the kind of people they want to be.
