madeinroath are organising a big puppet parade and we want you to join in!

This workshop will take place just before the parade and is open to anybody who is curious about how to make puppets and masks. We are looking to make a fantastical range of puppets inspired by storybooks that carry the theme of ‘global home’ to celebrate the thriving range of cultures and backgrounds that we have in Roath. All materials will be provided and there will be plenty of hands-on-help from puppeteer Layla Holzer and madeinroath volunteers to assist with the making.

We then invite you to perform with your puppets in the parade that will take place afterwards which will be a celebratory collection of big, colourful puppets, masks and music made by workshop attendees and Cardiff artists.
