The Moyseleum of Chairman Moy Chairman Moy and his underlings

Fri 20 Oct, 7pm – 8.30pm

The Old Laundry, between 11 – 13 Braevel Street, CF24 4SJ.

Disability Access: No
Family Friendly: No

The Notorious Chairman Moy ruled Roath with a rod of iron. Most Roath families have at least one member who was sent to the chip mines of Colchester Avenue never to return. After his death in 1949 his body lay in state but then mysteriously disappeared, feared destroyed by angry mobs.

Recently notable professor Sir Alfred Street was compiling a book of all the 200 ‘thoughts’ the evil tyrant had during his long life when he discovered Moy’s body, unaffected by the ravages of time, in a laundry in Braeval Street.

For one night only we invite you to a respectful file past of the dictator’s body. It is perfectly safe so please take no notice of people who say he isn’t dead.

Copies of the ‘complete thoughts of Chairman Moy’ will be available from the gift shop for only £5. They will include thoughts like ‘A man may look at Mynachdy but not go there’ and lots of others.
