Esyllt George and Farah Allibhai are performance artists exploring the significance of everyday happenings that create relationships and connections.

Observing that our personal stories and experiences are often blurred or lost as we focus on mass media news, abstract images and messages we ask ‘How then, can the sharing of the every day be encountered and connections made?’ By us being present? Listening to each other? Sharing in community?

Stories Next Door seeks to create an opportunity to do just that and invites you to participate in a ritual connecting the every day. Participants are encouraged to exchange a significant moment in their personal lives with each other that has occurred over the last 24 hours.

Following this we will celebrate with the creating of a community collage along with free tea & cake.
