We, The Plebeian Printmakers, are a group of street printmakers from Swansea who wander the streets in our boiler suits taking prints from manholes and metal covers from local roads and pavements, which embeds our art in our urban environment. We love to show passers-by the designs all around us in our surroundings.

As artists, we enjoy working in public so people can see the actual working processes that artists use. We love it when people stop for a chat about what we’re doing . For ‘Made In Roath’, we’ll be printing onto paper doilies and napkins to go with the place settings on the Long Table. Come and find us … we’ll be inking up manhole covers in the streets around the festival.
